If there are good guys (girls in the case of "Ghostbusters 3"), then it is crucial to have the perfect villain - someone who is scary, creepy, tough, and powerful.
Many fans are wondering who would be the enemy of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones in the reboot.
Deadline recently revealed that Neil Casey will be the new "Ghostbusters 3" villain. The former "Saturday Night Live" host will be joining the show's alumnae in a movie directed by Paul Feig and written by Kate Dippold.
According to the website, they have started filming the remake and first set photos leaked online before they shared the group photo of the female ghostbusters.
For those who don't know who Neil Casey is, he is best known for writing and starring in the 2014 comedy "Fort Tilden" which was named as the Best Narrative Feature in the "2014 Grand Jury Award."
He will be joining the list of villains that appeared in the "Ghostbusters" film franchise including Walter Peck played by William Atherton and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Apart from Casey, Chris Hemsworth is also confirmed to appear in "Ghostbusters 3." The "Bridesmaids" director made the announcement and even revealed the role of the 31-year-old actor.
"Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall," Paul Feig wrote on Twitter. He may be taking over the role of Annie Potts who starred as Janine Melnitz in the 1984 movie.
Before the "Thor" star landed the role of the receptionist, he was given one of the male lead roles by Sony. According to Variety, Hemsworth turned down the role because he thinks it was too small that's why the producers had to work on the script again to give him a more significant role.
In the original movie, Janine Melnitz's love interest is Dr. Egon Spengler played by the late Harold Ramis. Maybe Chris Hemsworth's character will also have a crush on any of the female lead stars of "Ghostbusters 3" or he could be the girls' sidekick in fighting Neil Casey.
