HTC's new Desire smartphones are crazy colorful and you don't have to dig deep into your pocket to get one.
HTC is known for giving tech fans an alternative to the popular and really pricey Apple iPhones and Samsung Android phones.
Better known for its flagship One smartphones, HTC now offers the new Desire smartphones - a colorful addition to their mid-range and affordable collection.
HTC's Desire 626, Desire 626S, Desire 526 and Desire 520 are available different carriers in the US. Although the company had not announced the prices for the said phones (you can find out their prices through your carrier), they brag of competitive features.
The HTC new Desire 526 phone has 4.7 inch, qHD screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Quadcore processor and 1.5 GB RAM. It has an 8 GB internal storage capacity, 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. Although slightly less sharp than the Desire 626 in terms of display, this phone offers good processing power considering the budget.
Meanwhile, Desire 626 ( available at Verizon and AT&T) and Desire 626S (available at T-Mobile, Sprint) both have a 5.0 inch, HD screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, Digital Trends reports.
Users can also expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Quadcore processor for both phones. Both will run on Android 5.1 Lillipop with HTC's Sense UI to cap it off.
The only difference between is that Desire 626 will sport a 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, while Desire 626S will have 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory.
In terms of its cameras, both will have an 8 megapixel rear camera but Desire 626 will have a 5 megapixel front camera, while Desire 626S will have a 2 megapixel camera.
On the other hand, Desire 520 is exclusive on Cricket and the smallest smartphone in the Desire lineup. Desire 520 has a 4.5 inch display with an 854 x 480 (FWVGA) display, 8 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM and 1.1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor. Out of HTC's four new Desire smartphones, Desire 520 is the cheapest - and appears like it, too. Card
HTC's new Desire smartphones are the company's latest offering until its next flagship launch next year.
