Marvel's "Thor 3" will not be shown in theaters until 2017.
However, fans are already clamoring to hear news about Argard universe.
While not much has been said about the movie's plot, Jamie Alexander, who impressively played the role of Sif in the last two installments of the franchise, granted a couple of interviews that apparently led to possible spoilers.
In an interview with LA Times, the 31-year-old actress revealed that her character, Sif, will most likely play an important role in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok."
"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don't tell me certain things," she explained when asked about how involved her character would become in "Thor 3."
"Because they know I'll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in 'Thor 3' and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can't tell you what because I'll get shot."
Furthermore, she also teased that Marvel is giving out easter eggs for "Thor 3," in its upcoming movies including the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War."
"Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain' will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films."
Moreover, there are also reports about "Thor 3'" plot involving Thanos being responsible to Asgard's demise.
While it's not been clearly discussed, "Thor: Ragnarok" will most certainly set the stage for "Avengers: Infinity War."
In an interview with Collider, Marvel CEO Kevin Feige promised that details about "Thor 3" will be given out soon.
"Probably towards the end of the summer we would announce a filmmaker and a writer," he promised. "May be the same person, I don't know, may be two different people."
Feige also clarified rumors that director Kenneth Branagh is returning for "Thor 3."
"Not true. I don't know where that came from."
"Thor 3" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 28, 2017.
