Ahead of its anticipated announcement on July 28, Moto G (2015) went live on Motorola's website.
Motorola accidentally leaked the details on its website by posting its "Moto Maker" customisation page for the Moto G. Though it was taken down after its short presence online, a reddit user was able to screen capture the webpage, Business Insider.
"The Moto Maker is designed to allow people to customize in precise detail exactly how they would like their Moto G to look," CNET wrote.
"For instance, customers will be able to pick whether they have a black or white front device housing, and choose a color for the back of their handset. They can also choose metallic accent colors and how much onboard storage they desire."
According to Android Police the webpage confirmed that the Moto G (2015) will come in an 8GB or 16GB options paired with 2GB of RAM. Motorola also offers a variety of color options for its rear and two color variants on its front panel. In addition, there are also different flip cases being offered for $19.99
Meanhwile, Brazilian retailer Americans also had the Moto G's promotional video on its website.
Prior to his leaks, its full specs was also listed on a Swiss retailer revealing that the it will pack a 5inch with 1080p resolution screen display, 2GB of RAM, Cat.4 LTE support, a 1.7 GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 405 GPU. It has an 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD and has 2,070 mAh battery- the same as the second gen.
The chipset was not specified, but GSM Arena added that "this combination points out to Snadragon 650," GSM Arena reported.
In addition, the device was rumored to be an IPX7 certified along with the Moto X (Third Gneration)
As for its price, it is said to carry a price tag under $200.
