‘Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void’ Pre-Order Starts To Roll Out, Comes In Three Editions

"Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void" pre-order started rolling out through Blizzard's Battle.net.

The strategy video game that went in a closed beta in March comes in three editions: Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition.

Standard Edition:

-Available in physical and digital versions

-Digital version is now available for pre-purchase for $39.99.

-An access to an upcoming, "yet-to-be-revealed StarCraft Warrior Hero in Heroes of the Storm."

Digital Deluxe Edition:

-Players who pre-orders have an option to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition for $59.99

-Access to a variety of Blizzard in-game bonuses which are available upon Legacy of the Void's release. These include: Archon battle pet ready to join your side in World of Warcraft; Void Seeker mount to charge through the Nexus in Heroes of the Storm; Protoss card back to demonstrate your psionic potential in Hearthstone and Protoss-themed portraits and unit skin for StarCraft 2

Retail-exclusive Collector's Edition:

-Comes with the digital bonus items from the Digital Deluxe Edition,

-A special edition of the colorful hardcover StarCraft Field Manual, a DVD loaded with cinematics and special features, and a CD soundtrack.

Meanwhile, gamers may also purchase the complete "Starcraft 2" collection for $59.99, with a deluxe edition available for $99.99, according to Polygon.

Blizzard noted that pre-ordering the game gives the gamers an early access on the Legacy of the Void's multiplayer beta which will will focus primarily on the Protoss race with Artanis as its main protagonist character, VC Post reported.

"The three-chapter prologue, "Whispers of Oblivion," focuses on the Dark Templar Zeratul and serves as a narrative bridge to the previous chapter, Heart of the Swarm," Polygon added.

"Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void" release date is yet to be announced, but Blizzard has been reportedly pushing a winter release in 2016. It will be available for Mac OS and PC only.
