When "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere arrives, the group who worked together to hide the corpse of Sam (Tom Verica) has already lost one of its key members.
Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay), who knows about Sam's affair with her friend who was the main mystery of the first season, was killed off in first season's finale.
The last episode ended without determining who killed her and so, in the second season, her death will be added to string of mysteries that will puzzle the audience.
Here's the good news though. It seems fans don't have to wait longer to know who killed Rebecca. According to a scoop by Entertainment Weekly, "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere will tackle this case right away.
"How to Get Away with Murder is about to drop a big bombshell in its season 2 premiere," EW wrote.
"After waiting most of season 1 to discover who killed Sam (Tom Verica) and sorority girl Lila Stangard (Megan West) - the puppy Wes (Alfred Enoch) axed the former, the bulldog Frank (Charlie Weber) the latter - How to Get Away with Murder is preparing to buck expectations when it comes to the mystery surrounding the death of Rebecca (Katie Findlay)."
"Fortunately, we won't have to wait long to learn who really was responsible. EW has learned exclusively that viewers will find out who killed Rebecca in the season premiere!"
In the finale, both Frank (Charlie Weber) who killed Sam's student girlfriend Lila, and Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) insisted they have nothing to do with Rebecca's death. So who is it gonna be?
Aside from revelation about Rebecca's death in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere, one more character will also be unveiled. Kendrick Sampson has been enlisted for the show for a 'substantive recurring role' according to Deadline. It is still unknown what his role will be and to whom his character is connected.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere episode will air on September 24.
