Aside from Lumia 950/950 XL , Microsoft is on the works of three Lumia devices as spec sheets of the upcoming Lumia 550, 750, and 850 leaked!
WMPU has obtained copies of the upcoming Lumia 550, 750, and 850, and based on their specs these three Lumia phones fall on the mid-range/entry-level category.
According to the leaked details the Lumia 550 has a 5inch QHD Gorilla Glass 3 screen, Snapdragon 210 paired with an Adreno 304 GPU paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card expansion which offers up to 200GB. Camera-wise, it has 5MP on its rear and 2MP on the front.
Meanwhile, Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 have also the same 5inch screen display, but pack a more powerful chipset a Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GhZ and 1.4Ghz respectively paired with Adreno 306 GPU.
Both devices were supported by a 1GB of RAM with 8Gb onboard on the Lumia 750, while Lumia 850 has a hefty 16GB onboard storage. These devices also get the same SDcard expansion of up to 200GB.
On the camera side, the Lumia 750 is armed with an 8MP Carl Zeiss lens with autofocus and 1080p at 30fps video capabilities, whereas the Lumia 850 has a video up to 480 p @ 30 fps on its 10MP rear camera, and both have the same 5MP front facing camera.
WMPU noted that these specs are prototypes and still subject to changes. Its source also added that the much awaited Windows 10 for mobile platform may get an official OTA release on October.
While waiting for Windows 10's arrival on smartphones, Microsoft pushes an update in India for select Lumia devices to enable 4G/LTE support.
"The list of devices include the Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 930, Lumia 925,Lumia 920, Lumia 830, and Lumia 625," GSM Arena.
"You will need to go to Settings > Phone update > Check for update to install the update (or wait for the notification to appear on the phone). Once installed, go to Settings > Mobile + SIM to enable 4G if your network provides this service or just leave it on 2G/3G to save battery."
