It seems that there are more than one matchmaker to Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris.
The 25-year-old singer and the 31-year-old DJ started dating in February, but it was just recently that the Scottish heartthrob has spoken about his new girlfriend. He told KISS FM that his relationship with the "Bad Blood" singer is going absolutely fantastic.
Fans were curious to find out how the two hooked up since they haven't worked before. Reports came out last month that it was Ellie Goulding that played cupid to Taylor and Calvin.
The "Love Me Like You Do" hitmaker has collaborated with the record producer in his 2014 song "Outside."
"I did play matchmaker, that's true," the 28-year-old British singer told The Sun. "Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love," she explained. "I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll be brilliant together.'"
Apart from Ellie Goulding, another famous singer has played a huge role in Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris' relationship. According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the "Blank Space" singer believed that Lady Gaga had helped bring the "Summer" hitmaker into her life.
Swift recently gave one of her followers on Twitter some love advice. "I pride myself on still thinking love can be like a romantic comedy but sometimes I just think I'm behind and just won't catch up," Alex Goldschmidt wrote. "Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It's good love luck. Because it's not a tweet. It's a magical spell," Taylor replied.
Back in March, the Grammy Award winner praised the 29-year-old singer for her performance at the Oscars where she sang a "Sound of Music" medley. "Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully living right now?!? #goals," Swift wrote on Twitter. The "Bad Romance" hitmaker got engaged to Taylor Kinney on Valentine's Day and she even showed off her massive diamond ring on Instagram.
Lady Gaga was pleased to see her message and replied on Twitter: "@taylorswift13 wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!" It looks like the "Born This Way" singer already knew that Taylor Swift will find love in Calvin Harris.
