After the success of "Grand Theft Auto 5," will Rockstar finally announce the PS4 release date to "GTA 6?"
While the gaming studio has yet to reveal much about the game's sequel, it's been speculated that the follow up to the car chase crime fighting-themed movie will most likely hit shelves in 2018.
"The much awaited "GTA 6" release date is speculated to be in the year 2018," Yibada reported.
The Fuse Joplin on the other hand claimed that the release will happen between 2018 to 2020.
In line with the release date news, Rockstar will reportedly bring back a feature that was taken out in "GTA 5," GTA6GrandTheftAuto reported.
Apparently, the giant gaming studio is going to bring back the six-star wanted levels, which was present at "GTA 4" before it was reduced to five in "GTA 5."
"Grand Theft Auto series is famous for all insane amount of violence which players had during the game play and all this excitement can be achieved through Wanted Levels only," the website noted.
In addition, Rockstar is reportedly going to include something different in "GTA 6," a feature that has never been made available in the history of "Grand Theft Auto."
For the longest time, fans are asking Rockstar to let their players play the good guy, a cop in particular and according to The Latino Post, the studio may have finally listened to fans' request of providing more money generating missions like "having a job like joining the army or the police" because such missions "will give a more real feeling in the game."
Together with the never before seen/played feature, the publication added that fans are also asking for Rockstar to have a 1970s inspired set-up, noting that the era was particularly significant to corruption and mafias.
And while it's not clear if that will happen, GTA6GrandTheftAuto added that "GTA 6" will be big in terms of gameplay and graphics.
"GTA 6 game engine can support destructible sceneries and the innovative idea is to think like battlefield where we can crumble some wall down or maybe explode some building with an airplane," GTA6GrandTheftAuto claimed. "This idea seems little bit simple but it will add more realism and adventure to the game."
And while Rockstar has yet to comment on the said release date and gameplay news, rumors as to who will play the lead character in "GTA 6" are also wide spread.
Rumor has it that "The Notebook" star Ryan Gosling is going to voice the male lead star in the upcoming game, while his real life sweetheart, Eva Mendes is going to voice the new female character.
"The highly anticipated gaming title 'Grand Theft Auto 6,' the next installment in the most successful Rockstar Games' 'Grand Theft Auto' franchise, will feature Ryan Gosling." Yibada reported.
However, this news should be taken with a huge grain of salt as no reputable source has been link to it as of the moment.
