Chris Brown and Rihanna may finally reunite even if it's just for a new song. Fans have been hoping to see the on-again off-again couple reconcile and this could come true once they start making music together.
According to new reports, the 26-year-old musician has asked the 27-year-old diva to guest in his new album which is due this fall.
"I think there might be a dope Rihanna and Chris Brown song coming this year," sources told Urban Islandz. "These two have collaborated before and make dope hit music so when they come together you can expect something crazy."
The former lovebirds first collaborated in Rihanna's 2011 song entitled "Birthday Cake" which started out rumors that they are getting back together after the controversial assault that occurred in 2009.
Last April, an unreleased song by Riri and Breezy leaked online and it was supposed to be part of Chris Brown's last album.
The title of the song is "Put It Up" and was recorded in 2013, which means that Chris was still dating Karrueche Tran when he worked on the song with Rihanna. The singer teased about the track during an interview with MTV two years ago.
"I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna because I didn't want it to be the same four-on-the-floor, pop," he said. "At the end of the day, that's what they expect from us, so I wanted to do more of a record that nobody really heard her sing on as far as that genre."
He also hinted that their music collaboration will be "youthful and at the same time sexy." According to E! Online, their song is quite dirty and showed a blatant display of PDA.
The website shared some of the disturbing lyrics: "You're the only one I wanna stay on the phone with/ Oh the late night Skype sex" and "Imma write my name with my tongue on your back baby."
So what are the chances of Chris Brown and Rihanna doing another song together?
"This is something that they have been talking about for a while now but it was his idea original to get her on his upcoming album," the source told Urban Islandz. "She agreed that they should do another song so it's almost a done deal."
