While fans are anxiously waiting for Tool to release a new album, its delay has led to some believing that it's not actually going to happen anytime soon.
Despite adimitting that they are working on new songs, the American rock band has continuously failed to provide more details as to when they will release their album.
Apparently, Tool teased fans of their upcoming album on its official website when it reportedly posted, "Wait For It..." Consequence Of Sound reported.
And while many believed that the band is pertaining to the release of their new album, their hopes were once again crushed when it apparenlty became obvious that Tool is just referring to their first 2015 performance at the upcoming Monster Mash Music Festival happening in October.
The huge Halloween event happening in Arizona will reportedly include performances from big bands including Coheed and Cambria and Primus.
Still fans are hopeful that Tool could actually give the big announcement about their new album in the said event, however that remains to be seen until the Halloween celebration.
In the band's efforts to ease out fans' anxiety, Tool guitarist Adam Jones told Yahoo Music that now that the "lawsuit is out of the way," they should expect "great things" from Tool.
"Our greatest strength is jamming and coming up with stuff," Jones assured.
"We're doing that really well now and I'm excited about everything we're working on. Some of it's really heavy, some of it's complex and some is more atmospheric, but it's definitely Tool. I think having this lawsuit out of the way should really speed of the progress of getting the album done."
Meanwhile, frontman Maynard James Keenan has addressed fans concern after his hip replacement surgery during an interview with Loud Wire, assuring them that he is still very much involved with Tool's new album.
"Didn't want to freak anyone out," Maynard said on a post at Puscifer official web page. "Wanted to wait until out of the woods. Years of foot stomping left me with no cushion in my right hip. Full replacement yesterday. Walking today."
