"Legends of Tomorrow" cast members come from two different superhero shows. This upcoming series features guest characters from "Arrow" and "The Flash."
They are brought together to stop a time travelling villain called Vandal Savage from ruining the future. This is supposed to be a team of good-willed superheroes.
However, two of them should not be there. If their past will be put into consideration, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) should not be part of the team.
During an interview with IGN, "Legends of Tomorrow" cast were asked whether Captain Cold and Heatwave can work well with the likes of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), Sarah Lance (Caity Lotz), and Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber).
Miller said he still don't know but he leans more on the idea that his character will cause conflict inside the group. He is not surprise though if Captain Cold become effective in his role.
"I am not sure, entirely," the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast told IGN in an interview held last month. "My hope is that Captain Cold gets to keep his edge, his humor. But it's not a total surprise to me that he is working with these good guys, or is prepared to work with these good guys. He does have a heart, and I think we see that in the relationship with his sister. So it's not out of the question that he might do something good for a change." Miller added, "I think it is a shades of grey character and I'd like to see him straddle the line as much as possible because that's a lot of fun for me."
His partner Dominic Purcell has a different take though. He has no doubts "The Flash" rogues can also do selfless acts.
"Absolutely, it can. I'm not like Spider-Man or Superman but Mick Rory and Captain Cold are still just as fascinating, wise, and just as charismatic; just as interesting. And then the flame gun, I may as well be a superhero because the thing is like an atomic bomb. I don't think that's an issue at all."
Can the rest of the team put up with these two?
Other parts of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast that haven't been featured in other live action works before are Ciara Renee's Hawkgirl and Arthur Danvill's Rip Hunter.
