There are more reasons to keep playing "Batman: Arkham Knight," or returning to the game as the costume and Batmobile seen on the 1989 film "Batman" are coming to the game.
The Verge recently reported that next month, gamers and avid Batman fans can be able to play "Batman: Arkham Knight" with the character donning the suit worn by actor Michael Keaton in the 1989 movie, as well the slick retro Batmobile ride.
How can gamers activate these special features?
According to the report, gamers who bout the $40 "season pass" to Batman: Arkham Knight" will be able to drive the Batmobile and wear Keaton's classic bat suit. They will reportedly be able to "swap their Batman" for one from the Tim Burton movie and turn their car into the look seen on the movie.
"1989 Batman is just a way to reward people who paid for six months of extra maps, designs and missions after the game's launch," The Verge said. "Today also marks the release of Arkham Knight's first real extra storyline starring Batgirl."
The forthcoming "Batman: Arkham Knight" Batmobile and costume are inspired by the movie released a few decades ago starring Keaton as the caped crusader and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. The movie provided a more colorful take on the Gotham hero, different from the storyline used by Christopher Nolan in the recent Batman movies.
Not only are the "Batman: Arkham Knight" Batmobile and costume are coming in. The report further said that there are three more Batman versions arriving - the 70s version, an "iconic gray and black" Batman, and the other from the "Arkham Origins" prequel.
Also to be released are Robin from the "One Year Later" comics series, a more "emo version" of Nightwing and Catwoman. Unfortunately, the Batgirl character will have to wait until bugs and glitches are fixed.
