Slipknot Vocalist Corey Taylor Finds Kanye West's Fans Blasting Funny! Throws Shade At Fall Out Boy

| By

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor seemed to have pissed a lot of Kanye West's fans when he threw a shade at the R&B artist following the events at Glastonbury Festival.

After West bravely claiming that he is the "greatest living rock star of all time," Taylor immediately reacted, and his reaction seemed to have caused quite a stir to West's fans.

"Kanye, you are not -- not -- the greatest living rock star of all time. The fact that you had to tell people that kinda says it all," the Slipknot frontman told West. "You remind me of the guy who bras about p---y -- they never get as much as they brag about. Stop it!"

Almost instantly, Taylor was in the hot seat, and Kanye's fast was fast to attack him. In an interview with Billboard to promote his rant-laden third book, "You're Making Me Hate You," the Stone Sour and Slipknot frontman said that he finds the situation actually funny.

After admitting that he hasn't heard West's reaction yet, Taylos said that West's fans have actually brutally attacked him in social media.

"It's so funny, man It was like one little comment and now everybody's talking about it and it's just getting funnier and funnier," said Taylor, who's currently on a book tour doing both signings and spoken word/music performances.

"The first day everybody was going, 'Well, y'know, (West) has more Grammys than Slipknot has albums. I'm like, 'Yeah, you just made my point for me. Getting a Grammy is like getting a Teen Choice Award. Figure it out.' And then the big thing online is these weird little armchair academics who are like, 'Well, if you really break it down, sorry Corey, but Kanye really is the greatest living rock star.' And I'm like, 'You an stop right there because you just destroyed your credibility. If you're gonna tell me (that) with Keith Richards still alive, withDavid Bowie still alive, with Paul McCartney still alive that there's even a comparison to Kanye West, then you just need to shut up and never try to say anything smart ever again."

And while Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor could never accept Kanye West's claims of being the greatest living rock star, he also called out Fall Out Boy for having "the nerve" to call its 2013 album "Save Rock and Roll."

"I've just gotten to the point in my life where I"m tired of holding back," Taylor explained. "It's like, 'Man, I've just got to say something, even just to get it off my chest,' and it feels like people respond to it, whether it's positive or negative. My biggest worry was that it would come off too angry and people wouldn't see the humor, but I think after all these years people understand my sense of humor. It's pretty dark, but they get it. I'm just trying to get everybody to laugh with me."
