"The Flash" Season 2 release date is just less than three months away. What are the surest thing to expect from the sophomore run of the hit CW Network superhero series?
Almost all of the main characters from the first season are expected to come back. As for the things that were seen during Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) time while running through the wormhole, not everything in it will be explored.
Talking to Comicbook.com, Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin Snow, said she cannot confirm yet whether the image of Killer Frost during the season one finale will be touched this season.
However, she is hoping writers and directors will make it happen. There is still three months before "The Flash" season 2 release date. A lot of things could happen in the writer's room.
"I really hope so. Since I've signed onto the show, I've obviously known that Caitlin could someday become killer frost. I'm wildly excited to play her. I would like for it to happen in season two, but I don't know if it will. So stay tuned," Panabaker told Comicbook.com.
The 27-year old American actress also recalled how excited she was upon learning that she was going to suit up as the Killer Frost who in the comics had many run ins with the Scarlet Speedster and Firestorm, who in the show is Caitlin Snow's husband and portrayed by Robbie Amell.
"It was so cool. The team began working on that look several months ahead of time. And then it was incredible to see it come together. I tried on several different wigs, tested several different make-up designs, and then finally we had our look. Between the suit, the wig, the make-up, and the contacts, it was a transformative experience," she said.
"The Flash" season 2 release date is October 6. Among the cast who are expected to return are Ramon Valdes as Cisco, Candice Patton as Iris West, Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm, John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen, and Jesse L. Martin as Det. Joe West. There are no words yet whether Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne will return after killing himself in the season one finale.
