Even beautiful personalities like "Asia's Next Top Model" host Georgina Wilson incurred a leg injury that left her in cast for up to six weeks.
"Asia's Next Top Model" host Georgina Wilson recently posted a photo on her Instagram account showing her injured leg in cast because of doing "kickboxing like crazy."
The model-host wrote on the caption, "You and me baby for six weeks, this is what I get for kickboxing like a crazy person. Haha #castlife"
Local news outfit PhilStar.com said the "Asia's Next Top Model" host Georgina Wilson engages in kickboxing, boxing and weights as part of her physical training. The report also said she goes to the gym five times a week and it is "super intense in one hour."
A separate report by the same news agency said kickboxing is among her physical regimens done with her personal trainer.
"I've done all these diets - like 10 days or nothing but juice," she said in the report. "It was the worst idea. I don't know how I did it and I was studying, too. I'll never do it again."
She also confessed in a report by local entertainment website PEP.ph that she was a chubby kid growing up.
"I was a chubby kid," she said in the report. "I struggled with my weight a lot. I tried all sorts of diets so I could lose weight."
Her diets then reportedly gave her a desirable flat belly, but made her feel weak.
"I decided that I didn't want that... I realized that exercise is the only way to take care of your body," she said. "It's as much of a necessity as eating."
This "Asia's Next Top Model" host is not the only celebrity who is involved in kickboxing. As their workout sport, celebrities like Angelia Jolie, Twilight star Ashley Green and Eva Mendes are reportedly getting their chiselled bodies because of kickboxing.
