Fans would think that "Superntural" star Jensen Ackles wouldn't have enough time to fanboy over another show with his busy schedule. However, it seems he's not as immune to other amazing shows as people might think.
According to Popsugar, the actor and director fell madly in love with HBO's phenomenal hit series "Game Of Thrones" and even dragged his wife, Danneel, into the fandom.
"It was used in the show when Dean is sitting with Charlie and having a marathon of 'Game of Thrones' and Dean was like, 'What's Game of Thrones?'" he reportedly revealed at Comic Con. "Well, I actually had that response in real life."
Driven by curiosity, Ackles reportedly called up the episode's writer, Robbie Thomas, to ask if the series in question was "the show with a bunch of naked guys running around" (also known as "Spartacus"). Thomas later gave him the first two seasons of "Game Of Thrones" and he's been hooked ever since.
Granted "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles' addiction to the show had a late start, but he's already quite a huge fan of it. In fact, like every other fan out there, he also shared his new favorite show to his loved one.
"I spent the next week or two watching all of seasons one and two," he continued. "I turned my wife onto it and now she's fanatical about it."
And just like every other avid follower of the George RR Martin's epic tale, he seems to be hooked for life.
"I couldn't walk away from it if I tried," he admitted.
In the episode where he watches the series with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Charlie (Felicia Day), he said Joffrey was a "d*ck". What do you think would his reaction be to the Red Wedding and Jon Snow's death and all the other horrible killings in the show?
Meanwhile, "Supernatural" and Jensen Ackles will be coming back to the CW on Oct. 7.
