Bon Jovi has just released a new single titled "Beautiful Day."
And while fans are ecstatic with the new song, there are rumors claiming that Richie Sambora has actually reunited with his former band to play the guitar tracks for the record.
The new single in question is a soundtrack for the movie "Finding Neverland." After hearing the new song, fans immediately speculated that it could have been Sambora who played the guitar tracks. However such speculation was soon debunked when App.com revealed who's the real guy behind the song's guitar tracks.
It was actually John Shanks who is said to have played the guitar tracks for Bon Jovi's "Beautiful Day" single instead of Richie Sambora.
This must be logical since Sambora is reportedly busy working on his own career developing something new with Michael Jackson's former guitarist, Orianthi.
"You know what, I'll tell you, we've played so many shows in so many places, he told Ultimate Classic Rock of his past experience with Bon Jovi tour. "It's been kind of a whirlwind, between the writing process and working with other artists and just us getting to know each other as artists and musicians and touring."
Jon Bon Jovi on the other hand is reportedly very busy with the new album and has no time for a reunion.
"I was in the studio all day working on the new record. I walked here from the studio," Bon Jovi said last February in a People interview. "I just read the paper, it gives you an opportunity to write something ... It's early but I'm about a dozen songs in. I feel good."
