While Legendary Pictures has already confirmed that "Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston will star in its upcoming "Kong: Skull Island" movie, there are rumors claiming that the English actor could probably leave as well after the exit of Michael Keaton and JK Simmons.
According to Deadline Hiddleston's supposed co-stars Keaton and Simmons have decided to leave dure to conflicting schedules.
Apparently, "Kong: Skull Island's" new shooting date, which will be at Q4 next year, would make it impossible for the two highly acclaimed actors to meet their schedules.
And while Legendary Pictures has never revealed their supposed roles, the publication mentioned that the giant studio is now on a hunt for their replacement.
While the production of "Kong: Skull Island" may be experiencing some set backs, it seems like rumors claiming that Tom Hiddleston would also exit the project doesn't look legit.
In his previous interview with Red Carpet News TV, the "Crimson Peak" star was very excited in working on the project.
"Well really it was [director] Jordan Vogt-Roberts has such an extraordinary vision," he said when asked what made him decide to accept the project in an interview with Red Carpet News TV.
He continued, "His story which I know he hasn't revealed to anyone yet is 'King Kong' you've never seen before, and it's very ambitious and epic and fresh and new in his vision and design and the characters are amazing. The chance to work with legendary again, who made 'Crimson Peak,' and I love what they did with 'Godzilla,' there are number of things, but it's more of working with Jordan particularly, his idea is amazing and the story and the script and the studio so yeah, it's a very easy yes."
Judging from his statement above, it looks like Hiddleston did not accept the role because of his co-stars, instead he's enthusiastic to work with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
Written by John Gatins and Max Borenstein, "Kong: Skull Island" is going to be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and is slated for March 10, 2017 release in 3D and IMAX 3D.
