Finally, one of them had the courage to openly speak up about their romance. During an interview with Kiss FM, the 31-year-old Scottish DJ confessed how happy he is with his relationship with the 25-year-old pop star.
"It's going absolutely fantastic," Calvin said as reported by Mail Online.
"It's interesting because obviously there's different things written about it every day and even if we don't do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up," the record producer explained. "For me it could be a lot worse and I'd still be like insanely happy with her so I'm good with it."
Before Taylor Swift came into his life, Calvin Harris dated Rita Ora but broke up with her eventually. A source told The Sun that it was the DJ who ended their relationship because the 24-year-old British singer has been hanging out with different men including Khalil Amir Sharieff so he got tired of it.
"Calvin likes more privacy than Rita and he hated the extra attention that came with being her boyfriend," an insider revealed. That's why it is quite surprising that he chose to date another famous personality. But this time, he seems more relaxed when it comes to handling the rumors.
"It does get more and more ridiculous, from me apparently being allergic to cats or Taylor and I are moving in together or we're getting married next week," Calvin laughed. "It's a lot but you've just got to take it how it is which is that it's a news story that people read but it's just not real life."
"Then on the other hand, real life is happening," he further explained. "There's a whole bunch of times where we've been hanging out and nobody's clocked it. It's not like every single time we go out, we get a photograph taken of us."
