Xbox Live with Gold members may now download one of the best title for this month's lineup the "Gears of War 3" for their Xbox 360 consoles. The franchise is being offered for free on the second half of July replacing "Plants vs. Zombies". (via Video Gamer)
Members without an Xbox 360 console should not miss the free title as "Gears of War 3" will become playable on Xbox One when the backward compatibility goes official later this year. Microsoft has been reportedly slowly working on its backward capability which currently has 20 games on the list and can be accessed through Xbox One Preview program initiative.

For the "Gears of War" fanatics, Microsoft also announced "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" Xbox One bundle for $345 which includes new Xbox One controller, a digital copy of the Ultimate Edition, 500GB Xbox One console, Superstar multiplayer skin and free Xbox Live trial, Segmentnext reported.
In addition, the ultimate edition bundle for the Xbox One will also feature "enhanced visuals, new campaign chapters with full HD 1080P and 60 frames per second."
Xbox One console owners gets "Assassin's Creed Black Flag" throughout the month of July , while "So Many Me" has been added for Xbox One's free games which will be available until August 16.
Both games are confirmed byMajorNelson to be free for this month exclusively for Xbox Live members with Gold subscription, while non-members can still download the game at its regular price of $29.99 and $14.99 respectively.
