Aaron Taylor-Johnson To Return In 'Avengers 3: Infinity War?' Quicksilver Could Still Be Resurrected As Chris Evans Reveals Shooting Details

| By

Many were left saddened from the unexpected death of Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) in "Age of Ultron."

And while it's most certain that he's out of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, there's an ongoing speculation that his character would be resurrected for "Avengers 3."

In an interview with Cinema Blend, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson revealed that there is actually a version of the story where his character would have survived the movie.

"It's [the] Marvel universe," he said.

"It was very much our intention to kind of go the way we did. There was a costume designed for whether... if I didn't [die]. Which was f*****g really cool. I was like, 'Oh my God.'

I'm not sure if I really can really go down that realm, but you know, yeah, it was definitely an alternative, that I think they had to play with. But, it was very much set from the very beginning, and Joss had in mind to tell the story that he told... and I was very game for that, as well, because I think it really gives [the movie] sort of an emotional twist to it. A surprise."

And if Marvel does consider bringing Aaron Taylor-Johnson's character back to life, the question is how?

Apparently, there is a potion in the comics called Terrigen Mist that could help Quicksilver live again.

The potion is described below as,

"The inhabitants of the Marvel Comics universe have believed that Terrigen Mists were toxic for regular Homo sapiens. When the depowered mutant Quicksilver subjected himself to the Mist, he gained the ability to travel through time as an acute enhancement to his former super-speed. Luna, Quicksilver's half-human half-inhuman daughter, gains psychic abilities from the Mists allowing her to see emotional auras emanating from individuals."

But while fans still want to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson in "Avengers 3," director Joss Whedon feels that his character is better off dead.

"But it felt very disingenuous for me, especially the second time around, to make what I refer to as 'a war movie' and say that there is no price and everybody walks away. In this movie, we're saying, 'Prove to me that you guys are heroes.' And he's the guy that does it," he explained in an interview with Empire."

Then again his power over deciding who will live and who will die in MCU is limited, which he admitted.

"I said to Aaron, 'The only way you'll stay alive is if the Disney executives say, 'Hey idiot, this is a franchise, and we need all these people and you're not allowed to kill them off!' We did actually shoot him in the last scene, in an outfit, with his sister. We also shot him, waking up, saying, 'Ah, I didn't really die from these 47 bullet wounds!' Actually, we shot something else with that, but... maybe I'll let you know about that later."

Slated for a two-part series, Marvels "Avengers 3 and 4" titled "Infinity War" is scheduled on May 2018 and 2019.

Chris Evans, who onced rumored to be out of the "Avengers" lineup, revealed that the film will most likely start production in fall or winter of next year.

"We start 'Captain America 3: Civil War' in a couple weeks," Evans, told Esquire and confirmed his return to the third sequel of the Avengers series.

"And then, that shoots until August or something like that. Then, I have got some downtime and I can do with it as I please, and then we start the 'Infinity War,' I think, sometime in the third quarter - fall or winter of 2016. That is going to be, like, nine months to shoot both movies back-to-back."
