"Vikings" season 4 trailer teased of more raids, punishment to a friend, and wedding.
Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and his crew will be away from Kattegat again as they are set to stage Paris Attack 2.0 after failing last season. While they are busy conquering new territories, their homeland will be in danger, brought about by one character they forgot to deal with last season.
Kevin Durand's enigmatic the Wanderer is set to return. This "Vikings" season 4 spoiler was confirmed by the actor himself in an interview with Zap2It. The entertainment website wrote:
"Durand, who stars on "The Strain," confirms to Zap2it during a group interview that he will appear in Season 4 of the series, and has already shot some of his scenes. "I was there last week and then I have to go straight back after [Comic-Con]."
"While Durand isn't giving away any details about Harbard's return just yet, he teases, "I create more chaos."
In third season of "Viking", the Wanderer appeared only for few episodes but that is enough to kill one main character. The Wanderer's showed up in Kattegat and cause inexplicable events like Ragnar's kid with Aslaug getting sick and Siggy getting drowned and killed.
In other "Vikings" season 4 spoiler, Clive Standen, who plays Ragnar's brother Rollo, confirmed his character will have a bigger storyarc. Rollo will marry the French princess he first met in this year's siege of Paris. While he liked the idea, it will be difficult for Rollo. Worse, there is no coming back for him.
"I don't think he really realized that the French people, the last time they saw him he was the crazy bear with his top off ransacking Paris," Standen said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "He thinks this is going to be an easy ride, and then we've all seen how he reacted to Gisla's speech. He hasn't got a clue. He doesn't even speak the language. There's no going back."
"Vikings" season 4 release date is yet to be revealed.
