If you are a tech enthusiast looking for quality smartphones but is on a tight budget, then HTC's new Desire smartphones might be for you.
Digital Trends recently reported that the company is soon releasing three affordable HTC Desire smartphones that come in different colors at an affordable price. The Desire 626, Desire 526 and the Desire 520 will be available on various mobile carries including Sprint and Verizon.
Other carriers that will have these HTC Desire smartphones are T-Mobile and AT&T, as well as prepaid carriers such as Tracfone, Cricket, Boost Mobile, Metro PCS, Virgin Mobile and more according to the same report.
"We absolutely treat [the Desire phones] like a hero," HTC's executive director of North America Nigel Newby-House said in a report by Mashable. "We wanted to continue the identity and look and feel of an HTC product."
He also added that they want people to recognize HTC even from afar, saying that if people cover the logos in front of their products, people will be able to say it is HTC.
Desire 626
One of the HTC Desire smartphones is the Desire 626 and 626S. Digital Trends said it will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC's Sense UI on top.
The phone is built on either 8GB for 626S or 16GB for 626. The storage can also reportedly expand via a MicroSD card slot, perfect to those who are fond of taking photos.
This model of HTC Desire smartphones has Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), and NFC. The battery has a long lifespan even with the 720p screen. It will also feature an 8-megapixel back camera and auto-focus, but the Desire 626 has a 5-megapixel shooter on the front.
The prices of the Desire 626S on July 22 will be at only $170 full price or for $0 down and $7.09 a month for 23 months with only final payment of $6.92, Digital Trends said. Consumers can get it for just $80 at MetroPCS because of the rebate offer.
Desire 520
The next model on the list of affordable HTC Desire smartphones is 520. This phone has 4.7-inch screen and houses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-processor.
Digital Trends reported that the 520 has 1.5GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Sense UI on top as well.
Prices for this model are yet to be announced.
Desire 526
The last promising model among HTC Desire smartphones is the Desire 525. This model reportedly has an 8-megapixel camera with 720p video recording. It also supports a long battery life with its 2,000 mAh battery.
