Halle Berry is paying Gabriel Aubry’s medical and legal bills ensued from his Thanksgiving Day brawl with Olivier Martinez, UK’s Daily Mail reported citing Radar.
Berry and her ex with whom she has a four-year-old daughter Nahla reached an 'amicable settlement' in court on Thursday after the model engaged in a fight with Martinez during a custodial hand over last week.
Meanwhile, Aubry has dropped plans to make a temporary restraining order against Martinez permanent.
A source told Radar: 'The settlement that was reached between Halle and Gabe in the aftermath of his arrest for allegedly getting into a fight with Olivier Martinez, includes an agreement that the couple will pay for the Canadian model's legal and medical bills.
'Without admitting ANY guilt, Olivier agreed to pay for Gabe's medical bills because he suffered the brunt of the injuries from the fight.'
The insider added that Aubry has now backed down and agreed to drop his restraining order proceedings against Martinez:'Gabe feels that there are enough layers of protection in the settlement agreement that will protect him and Nahla in the future.'
Aubry was reunited with his daughter on Friday for the first time since the fight, TMZ.com is reporting.
Although Aubry was covered up in dark sunglasses and hooded jacket, his injuries seemed to be eclipsed by his happiness of seeing Nahla again.
Halle’s lawyer, Blair Berk, told E! News via a handwritten note that: 'The parties have reached an amicable agreement.'
She added: 'There will be no further statement on the matter.'
Chapman Holly was seen leaving the court arm in arm with Miss Berk and the lawyers seemed to be in good spirits.
Although Aubry was initially charged with battery and bail was set at $20,000, it was previously reported how the model also wants criminal charges brought against his adversary, claiming he did nothing to provoke their fight and Olivier was the instigator.
Aubry was arrested after the melee, which happened when he was dropping off Nahla at Berry's home.
