McDonald's Seals Sponsorship Deal with the NFL, Offering 20 McNuggets for $4.99

McDonald's announced Thursday it will be the new official restaurant sponsor of the NFL and presenting sponsor of the Pro Bowl, according to a company statement.

As part of a multi-year agreement, McDonald's will become the presenting sponsor of the 2013 Pro Bowl and be able to feature the NFL Shield and collective use of all 32 Team logos in its marketing and advertising, McDonald's said in a statement.

The sponsorship kicks off this December with a Chicken McNugget Pro Bowl Promotion at participating McDonald's restaurants across the country.

As part of the promotion, McDonald's is offering 20-piece Chicken McNuggets for $4.99. Also during December 4-18, customers have the chance to win tickets to the 2013 Pro Bowl.

"McDonald's customers and NFL fans share a passion for fun, exciting experiences. This sponsorship and promotion brings our customers one step closer to NFL action."
