‘Dragon Ball Super’ Coming To The West? Funimation Currently In Negotiation For Its English Dub!

After a successful debut in Japan, "Dragon Ball Super" might be finally coming to the West as fans had been clamoring a release outside its homeland.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, Funimation is "currently in negotiation" with Toei Animation to do the English dub.

In an interview with Justin Cook from Funimation at Comic Con he dropped some hints that they may bring the latest "DBZ" series to the West as he has revealed to IGN that "there had been a lot of pleases"through phone calls.

"Cook said he has seen the first episodes already and Funimation is really excited about the show. However, he alluded it's a little too early to talk about Dragon Ball Super at the moment,"Attack of the Fanboy wrote.

"It's safe to say that Funimation will get the rights to do the English dub for Dragon Ball Super since they've been doing it for around 15 years already. Even Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F is being done by them."

Meanwhile, Funimation recently released another full length trailer of the upcoming English dubbed "Dragon Ball: Resurrection O F"which will be aired in more than 800 theatres starting August 04 to 12 as Chris Ayres is returns to reprise his role to voice Frieza. (via IB Times)

As for the "Dragon Ball Super" diehard fans, trailer of the third episode entitled "Where does the dream go!? Look for Super Saiyan God" was recently released in Japan.
