Joe Jackson, the father of Michael Jackson, suffered his third stroke in five years and was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital, according to reports.

The 83-year-old Jackson family patriarch "is in very good spirits" and expects to be sent home from the hospital Friday, said a Jackson family source who asked not to be identified.
Meanwhile, Fox news sources are reporting that he was in a "serious" condition.
"He's in 'serious' condition. Joe has been struggling with his health a lot over the past three or four months. The good thing is that he was taken immediately to the hospital as he was with a couple of people at the time," according to a report.
Joe Jackson made headlines earlier this year for attacking a Las Vegas tourist who tried to snap a photo of him. Joe and his wife Katherine Jackson have been living apart for some time now. He lives in Las Vegas and she is in Calabasas, California with Michael Jackson's three children
