Ariana Grande has been the talk of the town because of her donut licking scandal, which infuriated many Americans.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old singer and her rumored boyfriend Ricky Alvarez together with their friends arrived at Wolfee Donuts last Saturday and decided to dare each other to lick the donuts placed on the counter.
"Hard to tell if their tongues actually make contact, but it was definitely too close for their liking -- especially since Ariana pulled the stunt when no one was looking, and they would've tossed the contaminated donuts if they knew," eyewitnesses said.
The "Bang Bang" hitmaker was also heard saying: "What the f**k is that? I hate Americans. I hate America" and was seen kissing her new lover who is also her backup dancer.
Despite giving out two public apologies for her bad behavior, Ariana Grande is still allegedly devastated by what happened.
"She hates the fallout, all the apologies she has to do, missing out on the All Star game, etc. It has put a strain on her relationship with Ricky because she's stressed about it, but he is trying to be a calming force for her," an insider told Hollywood Life. "She hopes it goes away soon."
Apart from Ariana Grande's rumored boyfriend, Justin Bieber who was once romantically linked with the singer, called her up.
"Justin reached out to Ariana because he heard she was very down over the whole donut-licking scandal," their insider revealed.
The Canadian pop star has faced numerous scandals in his past, but he was able to get up again.
"He empathized with her, telling her he's made his own mistakes in life, and you can only grow from those experiences," their source explained. "Justin reasoned that, even if at the moment everyone seems to be against her, her true fans will always be there. She will just have to prove herself to everyone else."
Justin Bieber has a point because despite all the mistakes he made, his fans stuck with him. Ariana Grande has a huge fan base and they showed their support for her on Twitter.
