A Camacho funeral brawl broke out during Puerto Rican boxers wake earlier this week. An ex-girlfriend of Hector "Macho" Camacho leaned over and kissed him in the casket which infuriated Camacho's sisters and his former girlfriend Gloria Fernandez.
According to the Associated Press and other news reports out of Puerto Rico, family, friends, fans and fellow boxers had gathered to say goodbye to the slain fighter.
Cynthia Castillo, 28, dressed in a pink T-shirt with Camacho's face emblazoned across the front, was the ex-girlfriend in question that sparked the Camacho funeral brawl.
"After Camacho's sisters apparently told [the woman, Cynthia] Castillo to leave, grieving guests watched in confusion as the women began slapping and swinging at each other. After taking the argument outside the viewing room, police were called to calm the scene," FOX Sports reported.
Castillo claims to be Camacho's most recent girlfriend, but she ended up getting into a physical altercation with a woman named Gloria Fernandez, who says she's been Camacho's girlfriend for 25 years, and Camacho's sisters Esther and Estrella.
"I am the actual girlfriend of Macho, and those who don't like it better not bring it. They shouldn't be going after me. They should be thanking me for being with him at all times," she tells ESPN. "I went to get something to eat because Machito [Hector Camacho Jr.] told me to, and his ex-girlfriend [Fernandez] came up to me and told me that I had to leave. I said no, so they threw my plate of food and attacked me, and I defended myself."
