Despite being bombarded with "depress" rumors, Nina Dobrev is out to prove that she has been able to move on following her exit from "Vampire Diaries," after being on the show for six seasons.
The 26-year-old Bulgarian is said to be having the time of her life as she goes on her Instagram-documented road trip.
In a recent interview with Style Caster Dobrev said that she's "having a good time and enjoying life!"
And while she has enjoyed travelling after leaving "Vampire Diaries," Dobrev also seemed to have moved on from her co-star and ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.
Apparently, Nina Dobrev is now dating "Whiplash" actor Austin Stowell.
Inquisitr reported that the new couple is looking serious in their relationship despite just being together for a few weeks.
While US Magazine added that the two are inseperable as they were spotted on a dinner and movie date.
"He called Nina 'babe' and gently put an arm around her waist," the source confirmed.
Selena Gomez reportedly was the one who introduced the two together. While Nina Dobrev chose not to see other guys after her heart broke from split with long time boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, the former "Vampire Diaries" star has reportedly managed to open her heart again when she met Austin Stowell.
"Selena and Austin became close friends while filming 'In Dubious Battle' in Atlanta. It was Selena who went on and on about how wonderful and beautiful and talented Nina is," a source of Hollywood Life revealed.
"Austin and Nina are both signed to the same agency CAA and had crossed paths before, but it wasn't until spending time in Atlanta that they really got to know each other. This was back in January, so the two of them have been seeing each other since then."
And while the two reportedly just started dating recently, Nina and Austin apparently have been seeing each other since January. Howeved, it's only now that she has introduced her new boyrfriend to her friend. In fact, she's reportedly excited to introduce Stowell at Jamie King's baby shower earlier this month.
"Nina introduced Austin as her boyfriend to people who didn't know him. Most of the people there knew each other. They were glued to each other. Either holding hands the entire time to they had their arms around each other. They both seemed really happy, especially Nina."
And while everything seemed to be doing good for Dobrev, her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder is reportedly also very happy for her new found love.
"Ian actually knew about Nina's new relationship, but he never really brought it up while on set," sources allegedly close to the former couple dished out.
"He respected that she didn't want to hear about Nikki and she respected that he didn't' want to hear about Austin. One less thing to worry about: Ian is all about Nikki, his causes, the show and a handful of metaphysical stuff that goes through his mind. He just wants Nina to be happy, and if she is happy with Austin that is good enough for him."
