Lebron James 'I Can Never Get Away From Losing In The Finals' - Adds It Would Have Been Different If Irving And Love Were There

| By

How does one move on from a NBA finals loss? Lebron James is probably the last person to ask.

Talking to Bleacher Report Radion on Sirius XM, the Cleveland Cavaliers star said he still hasn't moved on from the painful Game 6 loss in the hands of Golden State Warriors which eventually denied the Ohio-based team its first ever championship.

"I just don't feel like you ever move on from losing in the Finals," Lebron James said, "because you feel like you're right there and feel like you have the opportunity to do something special. ... I can never get away from losing in the Finals."

"I guess there's nightmares now about situations throughout the games that's always replaying in my head," he added. "It's definitely difficult, you know I'm getting better every day, but you know it takes quite a while for me to get out of the funk."

King James also laments the fact that they went to war without some of their key men. Cleveland Cavaliers lost Kevin Love in the first round of the playoffs versus Boston Celtics.

Then, Kyrie Irving had to sit down the whole NBA finals after getting injured in Game One. If these two were with them, according to Lebron James, it would have been different.

"If we had our two All-Stars in the lineup it gives us a better shot," James explained. "Does it say we're gonna win the championship? Does not. You've still got to go out on the floor and play the game, but it definitely gives us a much better shot than we had."

"It still doesn't guarantee you a championship if all guys are healthy, but obviously it would've gave us a better chance. That's obvious. I think we all can understand that that's obvious."

Cleveland Cavaliers will remain intact for the 2015-15 NBA season with the core of the team returning. Lebron James has just signed new two-year contract and Kevin Love agreed to stay for five more years. Kyrie Irving is expected to be healthier again while JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, and Tristan Thompson have been retained.
