Already in his 40s when he became immortal, one of Mystic Falls' eligible bachelors Alaric Saltzman will reportedly find new love on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 not with a recurring character but with a new vampire in town.
According to a report by International Business Times, three "new and interesting" female characters are coming in the next "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7.
Two of these characters will reportedly be the series' first ever lesbian couple. Named Nora and Mary Louise, the report said they are a "dangerous duo of down-low lovers."
Another report by website TV Line said these vampires have kept the relationship only between themselves for more than a century.
"Although their connection is clear to those able to infiltrate their inner circle, Mary Louise's constant doting can sometimes feel a bit smothery for fiery Nora's liking," the report further noted. "Still, anyone foolish enough to cross either of them will feel both their wraths."
TV Line also added that these new females vampires will play significant roles in the lives of Damon, Stefan, Alaric and Caroline on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7.
One of these new vampires, Valerie, will reportedly "bring some love" in Alaric, still suffering from the pain of losing his fiancée Jo and their unborn twins.
"In addition... we'll also be meeting Valerie, another 20-something vampire who relies on her dry sense of humor to counter a life of pain and dismissal," the report said. "She'll encounter someone who helps her remember the happier, free spirit she once was - and she'll do whatever it takes to keep him in her life."
If Alaric the person the report is referring to which Valerie will hook up with on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, is she going to bring goodness or bad luck?
Alaric has had a couple of relationships in the past. One of them was with his fiancée Doctor Jo Laughlin who was stabbed during a tragic incident on their wedding. He also had a relationship with another doctor named Meredith Fell but did not continue further on.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 premieres this fall.
