[WATCH] McDonald’s Minions Toys Saying Bad Words To Kids? Listen To That ‘Curse’ Some Parents Said They Heard From The Toys

| By

The McDonald's Minions toys are still out in the market and more children are kept busy playing with their new collections. But when some parents tried listening to the sound the toys made, they heard some curses.

A report from Yahoo! Parenting said parents are freaking out over what they believed the McDonald's Minions Happy Meal toys are telling children.

The McDonald's Minions toys reportedly say three phrases whenever a person taps them on a hard surface. These words are bothering parents in Alabama, Ohio and Florida as they insist that one of these words is a swear.

"Honestly, in the beginning, I don't know what it's saying, but the last few words sound like 'W-T-F,'" a mother from Alabama said in the report.

Meanwhile, one dad from Ohio also complained, "I heard what it said and I'm like, 'Whoa, hang on here!"

Not only are parents shocked about this alleged cursing of the McDonald's Minions toys but grandparents as well. A Florida grandfather reportedly expressed his surprise after hearing the sound from the toy.

"It turned out to be a toy that decided to talk profanity," the grandfather also said in the report. "I can't believe it's coming out of a toy."

Are the McDonald's Minions toys teaching little kids how to swear?

The fast food chain defended its recent toy line reportedly saying that the toys are not using bad language, and that they are not planning to suspend the distribution of the Happy Meal goodies.

"We're aware of a very small number of customers who have been in touch regarding this toy, and we regret any confusion of offense to those who may have misinterpreted its sounds," McDonald's said in a statement published on Eyewitness News. "The allegation that this toy is saying anything offensive or profane is not true."

The company further explained that the toy being slammed, the McDonald's Minions Caveman toy, emits three sounds - "eh eh," "para la bukay," and "hahaha."

Maybe it's time for these parents and grandparents to see the movie which is still being shown in theaters worldwide.
