Ever since Cameron Diaz got married to Benji Madden, her priorities have changed. There were even reports that she's taking time off from making movies so she can focus on being a wife to her husband.
"All she wants is to stay home and enjoy this special time in her life," a source revealed to Us Weekly.
"She has told her team she won't answer the phone for any amount of money - even though she has received offers for various things. She is adamant that she is not available for anything," their insider added. Apart from being a wife, the 42-year-old actress is also ready to have a baby which is quite surprising because she was hesitant of having one last year.
During an interview with Esquire Magazine last year, Cameron Diaz revealed why she doesn't want to have kids. "I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother," said as reported by PEOPLE. "I have it much easier than any of them. That's just what it is."
The Hollywood superstar also explained how difficult it is having your own kids. "It's so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for - I didn't take that on. That did make things easier for me. A baby - that's all day, every day for eighteen years," she said.
Now that she has found the man of her dreams and ready to start her own family, it may be too late for Cameron Diaz to have a baby with Benji Madden. "She is doing everything she can to get pregnant, like working out and eating fertility-boosting foods, and she's even resorted to scheduling sex," an insider told Life & Style. "But it's not happening, and she's freaking out!"
The website also reported that she may undergo IVF treatments to conceive a baby. "If Cam doesn't get pregnant this month she's going to see a fertility specialist," their source said. Hopefully, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden will finally have their own baby with the help of medical professionals.
