While fans are still patiently waiting for a new Bon Jovi album, there has been an ongoing rumor claiming that former guitarist, Richie Sambora had actually played in the rock band's new singler titled, "Beautiful Day."
The new track made for the movie "Finding Neverland" is reportedly going to be included in their new album.
Apparently Sambora was the one playing the guitar for "Beautiful Day," however these rumors were soon debunked when App.com revealed who's the real guy behind the song's guitar tracks.
It was actually John Shanks who is said to have played the guitar tracks for Bon Jovi's "Beautiful Day" single instead of Richie Sambora.
Sambora on the other hand is reportedly busy working on a project with Michael Jackson's former guitarist, Orianthi.
"You know what, I'll tell you, we've played so many shows in so many places, he told Ultimate Classic Rock of his past experience with Bon Jovi tour. "It's been kind of a whirlwind, between the writing process and working with other artists and just us getting to know each other as artists and musicians and touring."
Furthermore, the 55-year-old veteran guitarist clairified rumors claiming that his exit had something to do with money, instead he said that he just wanted to finally pursue his personal career after being with Bon Jovi for 30 years.
"You have your first No. 1 record, your first hit single and then we had the second one and the 10th one and then you play all of the stadiums," Sambora said of his former band. "It's just insane. It was an insane ride. Thirty years is a good run for anything. Keeping a band together for 30 years is not the easiest thing to do in the world, and we worked really hard at it."
Jon Bon Jovi on the other hand is reportedly very busy with the new album.
"I was in the studio all day working on the new record. I walked here from the studio," Bon Jovi said last February in a People interview. "I just read the paper, it gives you an opportunity to write something ... It's early but I'm about a dozen songs in. I feel good."
