Despite the age gap and difficult trials, Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama remain strong as a couple.
They have been dating for more than five years already and have proven to everyone that they can overcome anything in their relationship. The 22-year-old singer has gone through rehab but her 35-year-old boyfriend remained supportive of her.
Last March, Demi celebrated her third year of being sober and posted a photo of her kissing her boyfriend on Instagram.
"He's loved me the way I never thought I deserved to be loved and with this day marking my 3rd year sober... After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery... he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is," she wrote. "I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer."
Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have become more comfortable sharing their feelings for each other via social media since there are times that they are apart because of work.
They also try to help each other's career by promoting their latest project and being there for each other when they can find time.
Last week, the star of "From Dusk till Dawn: The Series" surprised her girlfriend by visiting her at work. Demi shared their photo cuddling on Instagram and captioned it,
"My love... Always supporting me on set... At 4 am even if he has to get up to work at 8."
The two looked very much in love and are rumored to be engaged already. According to OK! Magazine, Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are secretly engaged and their friends weren't that surprised that this could happen.
"Wilmer's so good for her and Demi's madly in love with him," their insider revealed. "They've been to hell and back and emerged stronger than ever."
However, another source claimed that the rumors are not true but Dilmer fans shouldn't feel sad about it. During an interview with Shoboy in the Morning (via J-14), the "Really Don't Care" hitmaker opened up about her future wedding plans with her lover.
"Honestly, I am totally down to get married, get engaged, whenever the time comes," Lovato confessed. "But for right now, in this moment, I'm just so excited about my music that all I can think about today, other than Wilmer and Iggy's butt, is 'Cool For The Summer!'"
Demi Lovato can't help talk about her future husband Wilmer Valderrama. "He's my happiness, my whole world, so when I'm with him, I'm extremely happy and I'm able to record music and go on tour without worries and he just completes me," she added.
