"The Originals" season 3 will be introducing new characters! Will they be allies of the Mikaelsons or more vengeful enemies?
According to TV Line, there will be three new faces to watch out for when Julie Plec's series airs this Fall. Two vampires will reportedly venture into New Orleans, along with a detective who seems to have no idea about the monsters and creatures that lurk in the French Quarter.
The article dished that Aurora will be "a sexy vampire capable of turning on a dime and unleashing her dark side".
MoviePilot hoped that this new woman would become "Klaus' new woman of the week" presumably to stop himself from feeling more for Cami.
On the other hand, Lucien will be "another good-looking, calculating vamp who comes to town with a personal vendetta against the Mikaelsons".
With the original vampire family's history of violence and penchant for collecting enemies everywhere they go, it wouldn't be a surprise if this new vampire would team up with another of Klaus' nemesis for revenge. Could he be part of the "frightening new mythology" that producers promised for "The Originals" season 3?
With Cami already accepted within Klaus' circle of trust, the show now lacks the requisite ignorant human character. Thankfully, Detective Will Kinney will fill that role.
According to the spoiler, Detective Kinney will be "a handsome lawman determined to bring wrongdoers to justice - even if he has no idea said scalawags could be sporting fangs."
This new human in town, according to MoviePilot, could very well become Cami's new love interest. This possible development could also put him in danger, if not for Klaus' jealousy, then for her connection to the most dangerous family in the city.
Whatever their roles are for "The Originals" season 3, their descriptions definitely promises some exciting new possibilities when the show airs on Oct. 15.
