Floyd Mayweather's Camp React On Stripping Of One Of His World Titles; 'He's Enjoying A Couple Of Hundred Millions'

Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight took place more than two months ago. The American fighter won via split decision to take home the WBO welterweight world title and tons of cash. In the next few days, all that will be left on his home are the cash.

ESPN reported that WBO have stripped Floyd Jr of winning belt versus Pacman for violation of the organization's rules.

"The WBO world championship committee is allowed no other alternative but to cease to recognize Mr. Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the WBO welterweight champion of the world and vacate his title for failing to comply with our WBO regulations of world championship contests," the WBO wrote Monday in its resolution.

For Mayweather's camp, they think such action from WBO is a disgrace to the sport. However, they could not care less with all the money the undefeated American fighter earned for the mega bout dubbed as the "Fight of the Century."

"It's a complete disgrace," Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe told ESPN.com. "Floyd will decide what, or if any, actions he will take. But in the meantime he's enjoying a couple of hundred million he made from his last outing and this has zero impact on anything he does.

"Floyd Mayweather has a great deal of respect for each and every organization, as he has always had in his 19-year career, but he will not be dictated to by any organization or person as it relates to his decision making."

Ellerbe added they are not surprised with this action "because of the individuals involved we're talking about."

Nevertheless, they are still determined the case will be reverted and will fight for the belt on the court.

"We have the best attorney in the game, John Hornwer, and we are fully aware of what our rights are," Ellerbe said. "Floyd will decide what he wants to do."

Floyd Mayweather Jr has 14 days to appeal the case.
