For many years, Walt Disney has focused on telling the story of "the princess" in many of its characters' faces - the orphaned princesses Cinderella and Snow White, Jasmine as the princess whose father clipped her wings, the fighter princess Mulan and more.
But what if Disney would tell a story from the Prince Charming's point of view? Wouldn't it be nice to hear the musings of a prince viewers often see just smiling and kissing the princess' hands?
The Hollywood Reporter recently revealed that Disney is closing a deal for a movie feature that will center on Prince Charming, the iconic character from Cinderella.
From the Disney movie, Prince Charming was seen as the man who went by the words of his parents while being groomed for the king's throne. He went by following his own heart by choosing the girl he wanted to marry which was embodied by Cinderella.
If viewers can just see him express his thoughts - and maybe cry - it will be a landmark scene for Disney fans to see the Prince Charming that way.
The report said Matt Fogel wrote the script, while Alex Young, David Hoberman, Tipp Vinson and Todd Lieverman will be the movie's producers.
"Since no other studio has done more to ensconce the idea of Prince Charming into the public mind - with movies such as 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,' 'Sleeping Beauty,' and 'Cinderella' - it is most appropriate for the studio to take a look at the man as well," the report said.
Details about the story are reportedly being kept in secret.
It is not the first time that Disney started showing movies that are based on one of their characters' point of view such as the Prince Charming. Recently, viewers got to know the story behind the villain in 'Sleeping Beauty' Maleficent as a good fairy who had a change of heart.
