Does Nina Dobrev have a new boyfriend?
With her exit from "The Vampire Diaries," it seems that she also left behind her romantic links to her former co-stars as well. After dating Ian Somerhalder for two years, she was later linked to other stars from the show as well, including Michael Trevino and Chris Wood.
According to Hollywood Life, however, she's finally introducing someone as her new beau to her friends!
She was spotted kissing and cuddling with "Whiplash" star Austin Stowell during a Hallmark Shoebox event last June.
"They stayed for the first comic and kissed three times while the performance happened!" a source reportedly said, adding that the 26-year-old beauty was very "affectionate" with him. She also didn't seem to be afraid of showing some PDA around her friends.
In fact, Nina Dobrev's new boyfriend also showed up with her to Jamie King's baby shower. She posted a series of photobooth shots together with the 30-year-old hunk.
"Photobooth Fun!" she captioned the shot that she uploaded on Instagram.
Dobrev was also all smiles as she reportedly held hands with Stowell at "The Final Girls" screening in Los Angeles.
"He called Nina 'babe,' and gently put an arm around her waist," US Weekly quoted an eyewitness as saying.
She also seems to be slowly making their relationship public, with her fans waiting excitedly for a more concrete announcement of their status. Fans have reportedly been showing nothing but support for the actress.
So how exactly did Nina Dobrev's new boyfriend enter her life?
Hollywood Life reported that Selena Gomez allegedly encouraged the two of them to go on a date.
"It was Selena who went on and on about how wonderful and beautiful and talented Nina is. Austin and Nina are both signed to the same agency CAA and had crossed paths before, but it wasn't until spending time in Atlanta that they really got to know each other," the report said, adding that the said date happened in January.
