Together with Vin Diesel and the rest of the original cast, Jason Statham has also confirmed his return for "Fast & Furious 7" sequel.
"We're already talking about doing another one, part eight," Statham told Access Hollywood of his return to reprise the role of the big bad guy Deckard Shaw. "I'm a newcomer. I just got invited to the party in this last one, so it's nice to know I'm going to be doing another."
In addition to Statham, Eva Mendes, who appeared in "2 Fast 2 Furious" is reportedly going to come back for the eight installment of the car chase franchise as secret agent Monica Fuentes.
Breathecast reported that there are a number of publications confirming the return of Mendes.
Apparently, she is going to "stir up" the relationship of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Dominic (Vin Diesel).
While Mendes involvement in the upcoming "Fast & Furious 7" sequel has yet to be confirmed, there is also an ongoing news claiming that Paul Walker's brother Cody Walker returning for the franchise, this time however, he will play as a double to Walker's Brian O'Conner.
While Mendes has yet to comment on her involement with "Fast & Furious 7" sequel, there have been reports claiming that Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, who appeared on the seventh sequel as a double, will be coming back as well.
This time however, he will join the crew as a new character.
"I'm not sure if they are going to make an eighth movie, but if they did, I'm sure he would entertain a conversation (about a role)," he told NYDailyNews according to Enstarz.
Mail Online reported that Cody could play someone who is related to Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner character as he joins Vin Diesel's team.
"Paul's character Brian O'Conner will be seen retiring, while his younger brother will join the crew as a new character. Cody isn't a replacement for Paul in any way. It would be a tribute to Paul that Cody carries on the Walker name in the Fast and The Furious movies."
