Five "Hannibal" season 3 episode has been aired. What does that mean? That means it is coming to its end, official end if other networks don't pick it up.
While that is possibly the saddest thing for many fans, Fannibals need to get ready because by the eighth episode, they will get to see the most vicious and smartest monster Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) will ever meet.
Synopsis for "Hannibal" season 3 episode 8 has been released and based on the title alone, fans will know who will arrive. The sixth episode, to air on July 23, is called "The Great Red Dragon" and will feature the arrival of Francis Dolarhyde who will be played by "The Hobbit" and "Strike Back" actor Richard Armitage.
Series creator Bryan Fuller made it known to the fans that the third season will be divided into two with the latter half focusing on the "Red Dragon" novel. The sixth episode will also see a major time jump with Will Graham already married to Molly (Nina Arianda).

"Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) has been under lock and key for three years at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, when a new villain arises in Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage), also known as "The Tooth Fairy." As the investigation unfolds Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) approaches Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) to help catch this vicious serial killer who is targeting families. Caroline Dhavernas, Aaron Abrams and Scott Thompson also star."
But of course, before getting to the "Red Dragon" storyline, Will needs to catch Lecter who in the last "Hannibal" season 3 episode walked off the injury he suffered in fight against Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne).

"Sensing their time in Florence is coming to an end, Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) and Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) consider their parting as Hannibal plans for his final stand. Meanwhile, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Jack Crawford (Jack Crawford) reunite, but Jack remains uncertain about Will's true loyalty. Back in the States, Mason Verger (guest star Joe Anderson) hungrily makes plans for Hannibal's capture, while Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) and Margot Verger (guest star Katharine Isabelle) makes plans of their own for Mason. Tao Okamoto also stars. Fortunato Cerlino and Glenn Fleshler guest star."
