Chris Brown and Rihanna may have broken up several times, but they tend to get back together.
Now that the 26-year-old singer is single again, then the chances of them reuniting could happen anytime soon. There were reports last week that the "Loyal" singer appeared jealous when he saw the 27-year-old diva with her rumored boyfriend Karim Benzema at the club.
"Rihanna and Karim had their own table, but Chris could see them, as they appeared to be very intimate with each other," an eyewitness said. "He gave them a few cursory glances and was spied whispering in his friends' ears while staring at them. Rihanna didn't even flinch and carried on enjoying her night."
During the 2015 BET Awards, many people were surprised when they saw Rihanna danced and sang along to Chris's latest hit "Post To Be." This time, it was the football star that got jealous of the Bajan beauty's reaction to her ex-boyfriend's performance.
"The look in her eyes, the way she gazed at Chris, was a look Karim's never seen before," an insider told Hollywood Life. "He told Rihanna all this, and told her he doesn't feel he can compete with Chris and that perhaps the two of them are better off as friends."
According to the website, the Real Madrid striker felt insecure after seeing the diva's face light up when she saw the R&B singer perform at the BET Awards. After Karim Benzema had a serious talk with Rihanna, the singer admitted that she still has feelings for Chris Brown.
"Rihanna does like Karim and enjoys him a lot. He treats her well and he's such a stud in everything he does," their source said. "She told him she won't break his heart but did tell him she'll always love Chris."
The "Diamonds" hitmaker agreed to what the French footballer wanted, which means that they will just remain friends for now. "There's just so much history and love between them [Chris and Rihanna] that will forever connect them for the rest of their lives," an insider said.
