Fans Petition For 'Final Fantasy XV' PC Release! Square Enix Hints Possibility Through A Demo Titled 'Witch - Chapter 0?'

| By

There are reports claiming that "Final Fantasy XV" PS4 and Xbox One release date is happening this year.

And before Square Enix could announce the official release date for the highly anticipated RPG, fans are petitioning for a PC version.

Through Change.Org, fans are asking the giant gaming studio and "Final Fantasy" director Hajime Tabata to consider bringing back the well-loved game to PC.

"It's been a long time since we have seen a Final Fantasy game on the PC," the petition read. "With this petition, us PC gamers hope that Square Enix will have a good reason to revive Final Fantasy on PC since it is being developed on PC with DirectX 11."

It has now reached over 13,000 signatures and still growing in numbers.

While Square Enix has yet to comment on this, IB Times reported that the Japanese video game developer could have just hinted that "Final Fantasy XV" is indeed coming to PC.

"A teaser demo of Final Fantasy XV has been shown off, hinting that a PC version is in the works," the publication claimed.

Furthermore, it stated that the demo titled "'Witch - Chapter 0,' was played to show off the capabilities of Windows 10 and in particular DirectX 12, which Microsoft said is capable of compiling six times more polygons than DirectX 11."

Perhaps more details will be revealed in the upcoming Gamescom in Germany in August as Square Enix chose not to present "Final Fantasy XV" during the recently concluded E3 2015.

Kpopstarz added that the graphics used in the demo significantly revealed a more improved quality that will match the requirements of PC.

"The trailer and gameplay demo of 'Final Fantasy XV' shows that the quality of the graphics of the video game for the next-gen gaming consoles has improved over its predecessors, the publication claimed. "Square Enix will reportedly use Luminous Studio graphics technology to improve the graphics quality even further."

Gematsu on the other hand, has reportedly gathered a news from Square Enix job posting on the site Js01 for a position that is significant for PC.

"Online management, game production around billing, management experience and game system design of knowledge · PC games interests, play experience."
