"Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles is currently sitting on the director's chair to oversee the third episode of season 11, titled "The Bad Seed". The said episode will reportedly introduce a new femme fatale to the show.
The TV star flew to Canada in June to start filming for the CW's currently longest-running series, showing off his "hiatus beard" for his followers on Twitter.
"Back on a plane...can only mean 1 thing. Season 11, here I come. #SPN11 #HiatusBeard," he posted on the microblogging site last Saturday.
He was spotted by Just Jared a few days later still sporting a bush as he ran errands in Vancouver.
When he said filming the, though, 37-year-old old didn't mean he was the one being shot by the camera. He's actually taking his usual shot at directing an episode for "Supernatural" season 11. According to producer Jim Michaels, Ackles will be taking the reins for episode three of the upcoming season.
"The 1st Ep of @cw_spn that we will shoot for season 11 will be 3rd to air on October 21, 2015#SPNfamily with @JensenAckles at the helm!" Michaels posted on Twitter.
Being a director isn't an easy thing, however, and even the amazing "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles occasionally hits the wall when coming up with ideas for an episode.
"Having directors block...need ideas. What do we think about this #TheGallows movie? I might need to steal some ideas. Looks creepy. #SPN11," he tweeted recently.
Will the third instalment of "Supernatural" season 11 be a "found-footage horror film" type of episode?
The film, to be released on July 10, will reportedly be using the same method used in "Paranormal Activity" and "Blair Witch Project".
"Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy-but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone," the synopsis for the movie read.
If this is what "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles has in mind for "The Bad Seed", would it become another interesting episode for the show?
