"Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson has certainly been a busy bee for the past year and it looks like she will continue to work on more film projects in the future. But do her plans include a ventre into Bollywood?
According to Bollywood Life, the "Harry Potter" actress is reportedly in talks to appear alongside famed Indian star Aamir Khan for a biopic sometime in the future.
Director Nandita Singgha reportedly already talked to the "3 Idiots" star for a vital role in the film based on journalist J Dey's life and eventual murder. Titled "Mid Dey", Galaxy Reporter said that Khan already "said yes" to doing the film.
The same report revealed that the helmer "approached Emma in London and talked about the project." There is still no confirmation on whether or not she accepted the role.
Should she accept the project, "Mid Dey" would become her debut into Bollywood. At the same time, the movie would also be Aamir Khan's first foray into an English-Hindi bilingual film. It could also pave the way towards a Hollywood debut for the iconic actor.
Reports suggested that "Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson would be taking on the role of the British reporter who delivered the breaking news about the journalist's murder. The "Ghajini" star, meanwhile, would be playing the slain journalist, J Dey.
Aamir Khan is best known for her roles as the mysterious genius in "3 Idiots", the compassionate teacher in "Like Stars On Earth" and the vengeful amnesiac in "Ghajini". He was most recently seen in the 2014 Bollywood film, "PK."
On the other hand, Watson is known worldwide for famously playing Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" franchise. She also starred in "Perks Of Being A Wallflower", "The Bling Ring" and "Noah". Her new films , "Regression" and "Colonia Dignidad", will hit cinemas later this year.
