As "Gotham" season 2 release date nears, more and more characters are joining the show. Most of these new additions belong to the dark side.
After announcing another epic Batman will join the Fox TV series, the show announced writer and actor Dustin Ybarra has landed a guest role.
Interestingly, Ybarra also appeared in an episode of comedy show "Live at Gotham." Ybarra will play the role of a killer that is basically like the famous fictional character Hannibal Lecter.
This new "Gotham" season 2 spoiler was exclusively reported by Zap2It.
"The world of "Gotham" is about to get a lot scarier, thanks to the addition of a cannibal in Season 2.
Zap2it can exclusively report that Dustin Ybarra, who was previously seen on "Battle Creek" and "The Goldbergs," has joined the series in a recurring role as Robert Greenwood.
The character is a homicidal cannibal currently locked up in Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane after he was found guilty of murdering and eating more than a dozen women.
The character description for Greenwood reads, "His appetite for murder is only surpassed by, well, his appetite.""
"Gotham" season 2 release date is set on September 21. It is not clear though whether it will pick up from where it left off in first season wherein Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) successfully thrown off other mobsters in the city.
Aside from Robert Greenwood, other new villains in "Gotham" season 2 are Theo Galavan (James Frain) and his sister, Tabitha (Jessica Lucas), who will go on to become DC Comics super-villain Tigress. Dr. Freeze and Mad Hatter are also expected to appear although actors are yet to be confirmed for such roles.
Although villains are piling up for "Gotham" season 2, the city's future hero will also start preparing himself to become the Batman and give Det. James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) a helping hand. David Mazouz says his character Bruce Wayne is set to start his transformation into a vigilante by the show returns.
With this new development, who is excited for the "Gotham" season 2 release date to come?
