It's only been three months since "Fast & Furious 7" has been release and yet Vin Diesel has already confirmed the sequel.

Together with his confirmation comes casting news, it has been earlier confirmed that new comer Jason Statham, who played the big bad guy Deckard Shar is returning for the sequel.
"We're already talking about doing another one, part eight," Statham told Access Hollywood. "I'm a newcomer. I just got invited to the party in this last one, so it's nice to know I'm going to be doing another."
Now, there's a report claiming that Eva Mendes who once stared in the second and sixth installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise alongside the late Paul Walker and Tyrese is reportedly returning to "Fast & Furious" 7 sequel to portray the role of secret agent Monica Fuentes.
According to Breathecast, there are a couple of publications claiming that Mendes will indeed return to the franchise. She is reportedly going to "stir up" the relationship of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Dominic (Vin Diesel).
While Mendes involvement in the upcoming "Fast & Furious 7" sequel has yet to be confirmed, there is also an ongoing news claiming that Paul Walker's brother Cody Walker returning for the franchise, this time however, he will play as a double to Walker's Brian O'Conner.
Reportedly, Cody wants to pursue with acting and wants to continue his brother's legacy by joining the "Fast & Furious" family,
"I'm not sure if they are going to make an eighth movie, but if they did, I'm sure he would entertain a conversation (about a role)," he told NYDailyNews according to Enstarz.
IB Times on the other hand reported that Cody could play someone who's relatied to Brian O'Conner's character.
This is apparent to Mail Online's previous report claiming that Cody could actually "join the crew."
"Paul's character Brian O'Conner will be seen retiring, while his younger brother will join the crew as a new character. Cody isn't a replacement for Paul in any way. It would be a tribute to Paul that Cody carries on the Walker name in the Fast and The Furious movies."
