'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' Movie Reboot Plot Spoilers Revealed! Still No Actors Named As Cast!

While "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" movie reboot is reportedly starting to gear up, Umberto Gonzalez, founder of Heroic Hollywood spilled the beans on some major plot spoilers.

While Lionsgate has yet to release a statement as to how authentic the report is, Gonzalez claimed that the reboot is going to be connected to that of the original movie.

Apparently, the film will start off during the cretaceaous period on Earth, this is when Zordon-the original Red Ranger- and his team of Power Rangers detonates a black hole to defeat their mortal enemy Rita Repulsa.

65 million years later into the future at Angel's Grove, Calif. 16-year-old Jason is introduced while working in Hart Automotive. More Power Rangers members will be introduced as the movie goes along. Zack, who is an athlete will be introduced next. Kimberly who is romantically involved with Jason will be seen next at Hart Automotive.

Billy and Trini will be introduced last. Furthermore, Jason and Billy, who heads the team will discover five power coins while investigating a T-Rex fossil back at a military base, which will start the adventure of the Rangers.

And major plot spoilers have already been revealed Lionsgate has yet to introduce actors to portray the role of the Power Rangers.

However, Movie Pilot earlier suggested possible actors for "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" movie reboot noting that Morgan Freeman could be Zordon; Lena Headey could be Rita Repulsa; Emma Watson as Kimberly Hart; Freddie Highmore as Billy Cranston; Malese Jow as Trini Kwan; Ray Fischer as Zack Taylor; Jack O'Connell as Jason Lee Scott; and Luke Pasqualino as Tommy Oliver.

It's expected though that Lionsgate would soon reveal the complete cast lineup for the reboot.

In an interview with IGN, director Dean Israelite revealed that "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" movie reboot is already in "soft pre-production" already.

"I read the script and was really surprised by it and thought there was a really cool, contemporary, mature but still playful, buoyant and fun take on the material, and was updated in a really interesting way," Israelite explained.

Adding, "It had this wonderful character that's essential to going on a fantastic adventure. I was instantly drawn to it. "

"I remember it as a kid," he said. "I grew up with it in South Africa. When I opened the script I had no idea how it was going to be updated, and I was really impressed by it."

"Power Rangers" is slated for Jan. 13, 2017 release date.
